Pilgrim State Hospital & Cemetery

Pilgrim State Hospital served the counties of Brentwood, Suffolk, and New York. Pilgrim was the largest state hospital in New York State. At its peak in 1954 it held 13,875 patients.

  1. I have been very successful locating graves of former patients buried in the Pilgrim Psychiatric Center Cemetery. If you supply name, date of death, and your email address I would be glad to try to help.

    • Did you see any graves for the 1980/1990s my great grand-uncle died in Pligrm he went in the 1950/1960s I think he might have been buried in a cemetery somewhere near by but I not sure
